I have a bit of a problem: it’s a Hello Kitty problem. I grew up with Hello Kitty stuff and I can’t help but love it. I’ve purchased seat covers, floor mats, and other Hello Kitty accessories for my car. The only reason why the entire house isn’t filled with it is because I’m married to a boy. Who isn’t a furry.

The best part is that Hello Kitty has stumbled headlong into the world of music, as evidenced by the Fender Strats and basses released in years past. (I’m told they make pretty decent punk rock guitars.) I own a t-shirt that has Hello Kitty’s head as the body of a dual-neck guitar. Never mind that one can find plenty of Hello Kitty stuff in black. A girl can be a girl and still be a badass. At least I like to think so, being as I’m one of those girls.

Of course, in the world of Hello Kitty, one can stumble upon just about anything these days with the little happy face-and-bow. Ladle? Check. Vibrator? Check. Rectal thermometer? Check. Oil cap for your engine? Yes, check. The bitch be everywhere. She might even be hiding in your pants right now.

That being said, from time to time, I still come upon HK stuff that surprises me. Courtesy of eBay, I found this gem:

What, you say? Kiss’ Rock and Roll Over cover? Damn straight. Here’s a better look:

I don’t know if anything Hello Kitty will ever be cooler than that. Seriously, I think this is the end of the line.

Of course I bought it. \m/
